UNDER GLASS

UNDER GLASS

Under Glass is a study of the human body that plays with the transparent properties of glass to create tensions between surface and form. Similar to viewing biological specimens under a microscopic slide, the photographs create a beautiful distortion of flesh forced against glass. The camera is an observer that challenges our neurotic tendencies to assess others and ourselves. My brave subjects are peers who have accepted and embraced their age and glorious imperfections. Working with them has been inspirational.
